I don’t write often on tumblr these days, but this is tumblr worthy!
Today, i was little late to work and so i forgot about my parking permit. When i arrived at the campus parking lot, i was like…. “………….”.
For the background info, the daily parking fee is $7, which is equal to 40min of working hard! So i put my thinking hat on quickly and thought about this matter. If i just parked and got a ticket, i can just go to taps and say, “i think my permit fell of the dashboard” and get away with it, because i DO have the parking permit. But this would require me to LIE. Although this wouldn’t hurt anybody, it would hinder me away from my Father. Although little, sin is a sin and therefore it would, in the end, hurt somebody. And so, in the end, i drove to the ticket dispenser and right before i was about to pull my debit card out…… HONK!
An older gentleman (motherfathergentleman) pulls right next to me with a new shiny Benz E class (very sexy) and gets a daily permit from his dashboard and says with an accent, “l;ajdfalask CREDIT CARD adjklajanvdkajf PRINTED OUT TWO dakljfsdkkdjkajkf”. Basically i couldn’t understand him because of his european accent but it seemed like he was saying that somehow his debit card transaction went wrong and he bought two daily permits. And so, he just gave it to me. I said “Oh, thank you very much.” and he said, “your welcome” and just drove away (very cool).
As i parked my car and was walking away from my car, it really made me think. What are the chances of meeting somebody who printed two daily parking permits by accident and he comes in to the parking lot right when i was about to buy mine? Coincidence? Nahhhh~~~ i choose to believe that it was my Father. HE who sees everything and knows everything. HE who wanted me to make a choice to live a sinful easy life or righteous hard life. Although this story is not a life or death situation or full of miracles, i believe that even little things like these matter, because sin is a sin. Therefore, lets try more everyday and live a righteous life for our Father who loves us so much.
